Take action on vote request forms by March 23: Collector R Mutyala Raju
District Collector and Election Officer R Mutyala Raju directed the revenue officials to dispose of all requests regarding Forms-6, 6A, 8 and 8A by March 23.
Nellore: District Collector and Election Officer R Mutyala Raju directed the revenue officials to dispose of all requests regarding Forms-6, 6A, 8 and 8A by March 23.
He held a video-conference with the officials on Saturday and warned that they would initiate action against the employees who derelict their duties. He also asked the returning officers to arrange cameras, computer, scanner, printer, internet facility, required furniture, computer operator, videographer, wall clocks and others.
They can approach on any deficiencies for quick resolution. He also asked to complete barricading with the help of Department of Roads and Buildings and also suggested to prepare notes to be presented in connection with visit of election observers.
He also said details of seizure of liquor and cash etc should be kept ready.
The Collector said every returning officer has to conduct meets with the political parties and prepare notes on expenditure by March 17.
