The murder of Machilipatnam YSRCP leader Moka Bhaskara Rao has took a new twist after police had inquired from all possible ways. It is noted that the police have confirmed that the murder was a political driven. The police have arrested two accused based on the CCTV footage. Chinta Cheri is the main accused while Chinta Nancharaiah (tiger) and Chinta Kishore have been arrested by R-peta police on Thursday.

Meanwhile, family members have alleged that Bhaskara Rao's murder was prompted by former minister Kollu Ravindra and lodged a complaint with the police. Speaking after arrest of the duo, the DSP Mahbub Basha said that a case has been registered against Chinta Cheri, Kishore and former minister Kollu Ravindra at R peta Police Station.

Further investigations into the Moka murder are underway and further proceedings are underway, the DSP said. He added that some more suspects in the case have to be detained and investigated. R peta, Chilakalapudi CIs Kadali Venkateswara Rao, Morla Venkatanarayana and station staff were presented at the media conference meeting.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the TDP leader Kollu Ravindra who is said to be behind the murder is likely to be taken into custody today. Bhaskara Rao was brutally stabbed to death with a knife at a fish market in Bandar. Based on the footage, police have identified the accused as the bike rider with the help of another teenager.
