Tirupati: DIG Kanthi Rana Tata lauds Sri City's efforts in curbing covid-19
The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Anantapur Range, Kanthi Rana Tata, visited Sri City on Sunday
Tirupati: The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Anantapur Range, Kanthi Rana Tata, visited Sri City on Sunday. He was on a visit to Satyavedu and Varadaiahpalem mandals to review Covid-19 situation. He was accompanied by Chittoor SP Senthil Kumar and Additional SP Rishant Kumar.
Sri City MD Ravindra Sannareddy briefed the DIG on the efforts being put for preventing the spread of virus and maintaining the city as a Corona free zone.
The DIG appreciated the efforts of all the stakeholders in maintaining Sri City as a green zone, in spite of several red zones around it.
Later the DIG visited Thonduru Society village (where four Covid positive cases registered) and inspected the hygienic conditions. DSPs BH Vimala Kumari and Muralidhar, Circle Inspectors Jagadish Naik and Ashok Kumar and several revenue officials were present.
