Tirupati: It was a feast for the eyes of car enthusiasts and the people who visited Sri City on Sunday, as they got a chance to take a look at the classic Fiat cars on display at the zero point.

Including the Premier Padmini, 13 Fiat cars were lined up on the Central Express Way giving the public a chance to have a glimpse of the beauties on wheels, which had once ruled the roads for decades. The Fiat Classic Car Club-Chennai (FC4) members held the mega rally as part of their annual drive from Chennai in their Classic Fiats.

A 30-member team of the club, who are all prominent businessmen in Chennai, headed by Sunjeet Sudhir, founder of the club along with Manu Prasad, co-founder, Vinoth Ragam, moderator for 2019 and Kalyan Kishan Singh, treasurer, took part in the rally. On their arrival, Ramesh Kumar, vice-president, Sri City welcomed them.

The rally started at the Gateway of Sri City along the National Highway-16 and made its way to Mango resort on the Central Expressway, turned-back and traversed through important roads in Sri City and concluded at business centre.

On the occasion, Sunjeet Sudhir said that the motto of the club was to bring together all the passionate Fiat lovers in Chennai and build friendship among them. Yearly once the club members go on a long drive, and for this year we selected Sri City for that purpose.

The vintage car rally and display was organised jointly by the Fiat Classic Car Club-Chennai (FC4) and Sri City.
