Tirupati: Lakshmi takes over as Tirupati Urban Development Authority secretary

Tirupati: S Lakshmi took charge as secretary of Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) on Thursday. She took the charge from in-charge secretary Varada Reddy.

The government appointed her as the new secretary of TUDA a couple of days ago. She was working as a District Cooperative Officer (DCO) and relieved from that responsibility.

Lakshmi, a senior officer had earlier worked in the departments of MEPMA and ICDS and Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, Women and Child Welfare as Project Director. She also held the responsibilities of CEO of STEVEN and District Sports Officer. She was also the special officer of Tirupati rural mandal.
