Tribal Minister orders inquiry in Vizianagaram
A woman who gave birth to an infant recently lost her life while being carried in a Doli to hospital.
Salur (Vizianagaram): A woman who gave birth to an infant recently lost her life while being carried in a Doli to hospital. According to sources, B Laxmi of Mamayyapadu village in Salur mandal, gave birth to a baby recently.
Unfortunately, she has been suffering from fever for the past one week. As the hilltop village has no road facility, the locals took her to hospital in Salur in Doli. However, the woman died on the way to hospital.
Responding on the issue, Deputy Chief Minister P Pushpa Srivani directed the officials to conduct an inquiry on this incident. She instructed the ITDA, medical and health authorities to visit the village and get the complete information and take necessary measures not to repeat such incidents in future.
