Tirumala: The TTD will release the July quota of Rs 300 Special Entry darshan tickets online for the benefit of devotees on Monday, June 29.

With the TTD increasing the number of special entry tickets to 9,000 daily, 2.79 lakh tickets will be available for the month of July for booking online in advance by the devotees for darshan of Lord Venkateswara, Tirumala.

However, the daily quota of Sarva Darshan tokens remained at 3000.

Similarly, the TTD decided to issue 3,000 Sarva Darshan tokens per day for the month of July which will be issued from June 30.

Devotees could avail these tokens one day in advance. For instance, for darshan on July 1, tokens will be issued on June 30 at the TTD counters at Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasam and Bhudevi complex near Alipiri.

Earlier, the TTD issued tokens day wise (limited to 3,000) in advance till the quota of Sarva Darshan exhausted, resulting in the people from outside Tirupati who availed the tokens staying for several days here till the date of darshan proving expensive and also risky in view of growing number of Covid-19 cases in and around Tirupati.

It is pertinent to note that, the number Covid-19 cases in Tirupati Corporation crossed 200 while the surrounding areas under Tirupati rural reported more than 100 causes, according to official sources.
