Visakhapatnam: A couple dies after slipping off from the train at Duvvada Railway station
In a most horrific incident, a couple from Vijayanagaram district died. The accident occurred at the Duvvada railway station in Visakhapatnam district on Sunday when a the couple slipped away from the train.
In a most horrific incident, a couple from Vijayanagaram district died. The accident occurred at the Duvvada railway station in Visakhapatnam district on Sunday when a the couple slipped away from the train. The couple identified to be Venkataramana (40) and Mani (35) from vedullavalasa village of Garividi zone in Vijayanagaram.
They left for Hyderabad on a special train from Hyderabad on Saturday night. As their parents reside in Duvvada, the couple tried to alight at the station.
Trying to get on the train at platform No 4 couple accidentally slipped off from train. Venkataramana and Mani, who were seriously injured, lost their lives on the spot. Responding to the accident, GRP police rushed the bodies to Anakapalli Hospital for postmortem.
It is reported that deceased are survived with two children. Venkataramana's relatives were informed about the accident. Police department is investigating the case.
