A RINL employee, who returned from Rajasthan via New Delhi on June 4 by flight, was tested positive for coronavirus.
Visakhapatnam: A RINL employee, who returned from Rajasthan via New Delhi on June 4 by flight, was tested positive for coronavirus.
His report came to light on Sunday. Earlier, he was kept under institutional quarantine for nine days. Since his swab test was reported negative, he was suggested for a week-long home quarantine. On June 20, he came for work but could not continue for long as after two days he developed cough. He was tested positive for Covid-19 and was later admitted to Covid hospital for treatment.
Contact tracing has begun and a few primary contacts of the patient at the workplace have been advised for home quarantine. Meanwhile, Ukkunagaram carried out its sanitisation process extensively.
