Visakhapatnam: VPT Covid care centre set up at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium

Visakhapatnam: Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port Trust K Rama Mohana Rao inaugurated a Covid Care Centre for VPT employees at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium at Narasimha Nagar here on Wednesday.
To overcome the shortage of beds at the VPT hospitals, the port management decided to increase its capacity to treat Covid-19 patients.
District Collector V Vinay Chand granted permission to set up the CCC facility at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium. The Centre was inaugurated with 63-bed capacity with all necessary facilities.
Heads of the departments and senior officers of VPT, doctors and the staff took part in the inaugural.
