Walkers, Yoga and Laughing Club distributed old age pension of Rs 350 each to 100 beneficiaries and an amount of Rs 10,000 to merit students K Rohini and K Devi.

Rajamahendravaram: Walkers, Yoga and Laughing Club distributed old age pension of Rs 350 each to 100 beneficiaries and an amount of Rs 10,000 to merit students K Rohini and K Devi. Meanwhile, DVV Vidya Sagar donated an amount of Rs 15,000 to club's Vidyanidhi, P Rama Brahmam Rs 10,000 and K Durga Prasad Rs 5,000 to the club.

The club founder P Gopala Rao said that the club was extending financial assistance to old aged and also to merit students. Moreover, the club is in the forefront in serving the needy. Walking, yoga and laughing helps to maintain sound health, he said.

Plans are afoot to expand its service activities basing on its financial positions, he added and thanked the donors for extending financial assistance for the proper functioning of the club. The club representatives G Krishna Rao, Narang and others were present.
