On the other hand, the low pressure has also occurred in the north central Karnataka neighbourhood resulting heavy rainfall in several areas.
Meanwhile, heavy rainfall has already occurred in Srikakulam, East Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Anantapur and Prakasam districts on Sunday and are expected in North Coastal Andhra on Monday and Tuesday as well. Also, the Amaravati Meteorological Center predicts heavy rainfall in Rayalaseema as well.
Meanwhile in the neighbouring state Telangana, the rains lashed out on Friday along with heavy thunderstorms and lightnings. It is likely to occur rains in the state on Monday and Tuesday as well, the Meteorological Department said.
