Deputy Chief Minister P Pushpa Srivani on Friday said the government was fulfilling all promises given to people during the elections.
Garugubilli (Vizianagaram): Deputy Chief Minister P Pushpa Srivani on Friday said the government was fulfilling all promises given to people during the elections.
Inaugurating a paddy purchasing centre at Garugubilli in Vizianagaram district, she said the government was giving top priority for welfare and extending the schemes for all sections in the state irrespective of party, caste and creed.
She said the government was implementing Rythu Bharosa to support the farmers financially and to bring out them from the debts. She said the government was restricting bar shops to uplift the weaker sections socially and economically.
"We are giving Rs15,000 to every mother under the Amma Vodi Scheme and giving financial assistance to patients who undergoes treatment under the Arogya Sri scheme. Even after surgery, the patient will get Rs 5,000 for his family as maintenance," she said.
The long-pending Purnapadu bridge would be completed by coming June, she said and added the bridge would connect the remote villages with the rest of the world during floods to Nagavali river.
