YSRCP leader Moka Bhaskara Rao's murder: Two arrested
The police in Machilipatnam are on high alert with tension prevailing following the murder of YSRCP leader Moka Bhaskara Rao on Monday. The police are on high alert because of possibility of clashes between YSRCP and TDP activists.
Vijayawada: The police in Machilipatnam are on high alert with tension prevailing following the murder of YSRCP leader Moka Bhaskara Rao on Monday. The police are on high alert because of possibility of clashes between YSRCP and TDP activists.
The family members of Bhaskara Rao alleged that the TDP leaders were behind the murder of Bhaskara Rao, former Chairman of the Market Yard Committee and former Councillor. The police provided security at the houses of TDP leader and former Minister Kollu Ravindra and MLC B Arjunudu.
It may be recalled Bhaskara Rao was brutally stabbed to death by two persons at the fish market in Machilipatnam on Monday.
The police identified two youth as suspects in the murder of Bhaskara Rao, who was the close aide of Transport Minister Perni Nani. It is reliably learnt that the police nabbed the accused.
One of the accused was identified with help of CC tv footage. Last rites of Bhaskara Rao was performed in Machilipatnam on Tuesday. Ministers Perni Nani and Kodali Nani paid tributes to the leader.
