YSRCP MP Vijayasai Reddy who along with the ministers , held a press meet on Tuesday has said that the state government is continuously reviewing the situation in the affected villages. Speaking on occasion, Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy said that the government aims to reassure the public and bring back lost confidence in them. He added that the situation in the villages was entirely under control and urged that people not to be intimidated over the gas leak accident as the government would extend full support to everyone in this regard.

Vijayasai Reddy said that the houses would be surveyed by the village volunteer and assured that the gas leakage area would be made into a completely safe and green zone. He announced that the government would supply 25 tonnes of livestock to cattle and other facilities would be provided to the public, including lunch and evening meal. He reiterated that it is the government's responsibility to ensure that the normalcy has prevailed in the affected areas.

The district collector, on the other hand, said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was constantly monitoring the local situation. "Special medical teams are working to prevent diseases related to the eye, lungs, kidneys and skin; the medical camp, which was set up, would continue for months," the collector said. The collector has also announced that a special dispensary is also being set up. He said that a preliminary report had been submitted on how to stay in the villages.
