The Jagan's government claims that the GN Rao Committee and the Boston Consulting Group reported in favour of the formation of the three capitals.
However, there are reports that the GN Rao Committee has made several suggestions on the formation of administrative capital in Visakhapatnam. The reports claim that the GN Rao Committee has stated that there is a risk of cyclones in Vishakha.
YSSRCP Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy responded to this. He questioned why Visakhapatnam is being portrayed as being on the verge of a volcano. He also said that Mumbai and Chennai were also affected by typhoons.
"Chandrababu benamis have encircled the surrounding lands in Amaravati under insider trading before the announcement of the Bogapuram Airport," Vijayasai said. He said all these scams would come out after a probe into it. Vijayasai Reddy alleged Chandrababu of giving land permissions to his benamis violating Coastal Regulations in Visakhapatnam.
