Hyd one of the fastest growing metropolises in the world

Hyderabad: The advent of globalization in India has propelled Hyderabad to its position as one of the fastest growing metropolises in the world, said Rakesh Reddy, director, Aparna Constructions.
Reddy was reacting to a statement made by The World Economic Forum, that Hyderabad is one of the fastest growing cities in the world and is only marginally behind Bangalore at second position.
The research institute of Oxford Economics also said that all 10 cities in the list of fastest growing cities are from India.
And, going by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth, this is likely to be the case till 2035.
Reddy went on to add that over the past two decades, Hyderabad has become the preferred destination for IT companies and many other knowledge-based industries.
Its talent pool and central location make Hyderabad an appealing city to setup corporate headquarters.
Concurrent to its commercial growth, Hyderabad has emerged as one of the best performing residential real estate destinations in India.
The growth is complemented by strong fundamentals including government stability, infrastructure development and economic drivers.
In the past decade, Hyderabad has seen numerous projects being undertaken in the residential space, especially high-end and mid-range properties.
