Directed by Manoj Jha and produced under his banner Lovely World Entertainment. The film stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill, Saurabh Shukla, Sudhir Pandey, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Pavan Malhotra, Mukesh Tiwari, Nandish Singh, Yashpal Sharma, Nandish Sandhu, Pranati Rai Prakash, Raj Zutshi and Salil Acharya.
The drama is set in the backdrop of a small town of North India with Jimmy Sheirgill, who is playing the role of Raftar is caught in the middle of political upheaval with hsi own brother on the other end.
Saurabh Shukla is introduced as Talwaar while Mahi is given the title of Damdaar who is seen speaking bold dialogues in a dauntless manner. Actor Nandish Singh who is making his debut with the film looks good.
The film somewhere gives you the feel is of Saheb, Biwi and Gangster maybe we see Jimmy and Mahi coming together in similar roles however there is an added comedy flavour in this film.
The film 'Family of Thakurganj' is all set to hit the theatres on July 19,2019.
