The Rachakonda Commissionerate Uppal Police on Sunday registered cases against six persons including a telugu TV anchor Ch Prashanthi by consuming alcohol and obstructing the complainant and threatening him during the IPL cricket match at Sunday at Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium in Uppal.

The Rachakonda Commissionerate Uppal Police on Sunday registered cases against six persons including a telugu TV anchor Ch Prashanthi by consuming alcohol and obstructing the complainant and threatening him during the IPL cricket match at Sunday at Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium in Uppal.

According to police, they received a complaint from Santosh Upadhyay (41), Vice President in Bharath Finance, resident of Kompally stating that six persons have consumed alcohol at Uppal Cricket Stadium in Corporate Box Number S 22 and created nuisance by obstructing him and not allowing him corridor to watch cricket match by abusing in filthy language and by threatening him with dire consequence and violated the rules and regulations duly promulgate by public servant.

Based on his complaint police booked cases against K Purnima (27, Student), K Priya ( 23, Student), Ch Prashanthi (32, telugu TV Actress), V Srikanth Reddy (48 'private job), L Suresh (28, private job, and G Venu Gopal (38, private job) under sections 341, 188, 506 IPC and Section 70 (b) City Police Act and are investigating the case.
