Paaruthiveeran: This movie catapulted Karthi's star status to a different level, thanks to his acting prowess. The movie was directed by Ameer Sultan for which Yuvan Shankar Raaja scored the music. The movie starred Priyamani as female lead for which she won the National award for best actress.
