Sandalwood: Sandalwood movie KGF Chapter 1 created history after its release. The movie, which was also released in multiple languages, set a new benchmark for upcoming movies. In Kannada, KGF became a cult movie. The movie was directed by Prashanth Neel who is now busy with the making of the sequel KGF Chapter 2. Expectations are rising high, thanks to the massive success of the first instalment of the movie. Now, the interest on the movie seems to have gone up further.

We all know that the makers of Yash sold the digital streaming rights of the movie to Amazon Prime Video for a whopping price. Ever since its release on the OTT platform, KGF Chapter 1 has become one of the most viewed movies in the digital space. Now, the latest we know is tha Yash's KGF Chapter 1 has become a hot favourite during the lockdown on OTT. The movie has garnered record views.

KGF Chapter 1 starred Yash, Srinidhi Shetty and Anantnag in the key roles. Now, the sequel promises to be even bigger because of its impressive star cast. KGF Chapter 2 will also have besides other actors, Bollywood stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon.

KGF Chapter 2 is slated for release on October 23.
