Prashanth Varma announces sequel for 'Awe'

Touted to be a psychological thriller, 2018 released 'Awe' movie became a decent hit at the box office. Prashanth Varma helmed this project whereas Natural Star Nani pooled resources for this film.
Kajal Aggarwal played the lead role whereas Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, Eesha Rebba, Srinivas Avasarala, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, and Murali Sharma, etc played crucial roles in the film. Now, Prashanth Varma has announced a sequel to this film.
Tentatively being called as 'Awe 2', the movie will be launched soon. According to the reports, Kajal Aggarwal was impressed with the script. If the buzz is to be believed, the makers are in talks with Vijay Sethupathi to play the male lead. More details about the film will be revealed soon.
'Awe' dealt with issues like child abuse, sexual abuse, drug abuse, and Homosexuality. We have to wait and see what problems Prashanth Varma is going to address in the sequel film.
