Welcome To Kannada Nadu: Puneeth To Prabhas On Sandalwood Debut With Salaar

While sandalwood power star Puneeth Rajkumar is all set to make his entry into Tollywood through the movie "Yuvarathnaa', Tollywood rebel star Prabhas is being roped in for a sandalwood movie by Kannada Producer Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale films.

Prabhas is making a grand entry into Sandalwood with this movie. Hence the Pan India sensation who became a household name after his film Baahubali, will be making his debut in sandalwood through the Kannada movie "Salaar". Even though the film will be released in several languages, Prabhas may dub his own voice for the character in the movie.

Prabhas and Puneeth have welcomed each other to their respective industries on this occasion. The first look poster of Prashanth Neel-Prabhas combination movie "Salaar" was shared by Appu on social media. "Prabhas, I invite you to Kannada land with open arms. Hombale films which is like my other home Production has ventured into making one more big project. Congratulations to Producer Vijay kiragandur. It is a matter of pride for Karnataka people that a Kannada Production organisation is creating news throughout the country with a huge production such as this," thus stated Puneeth Rajkumar.

Prior to the release of the Telugu version of Yuvarathnaa, the team has released a song "Power of Youth' on December 2. Prabhas who has shared the Telugu version of this song link on FB has welcomed the power star to the Telugu film land. "Welcome to Puneeth Rajkumar to Telugu film land. Best wishes to the team of Yuvarathna," thus welcomed Prabhas.

Fans are delighted to watch these two actors greeting each other on social media. Discussions were going on regarding the participation of the Pan India star Prabhas in a Prashanth Neel directorial movie. Now that this news is confirmed officially with the announcement of the "Salaar" movie, fans are celebrating this as a festival on social media.

Currently, Prabhas is busy with the shooting schedules of "Radhe Shyam' and the actor has agreed to do films with Nag Ashwin, and Om Raut. However, Prabhas has also agreed to work for 'Salaar" from January. Hence it is assumed that Salaar will hit the screens after "Radhe Shyam".

Salaar will go to sets in January 2021.
