VNRVJIET student bags 28.75 lakh package from Amazon
Satya Sai Sivaramakrishna Neerukonda, a student of B Tech (CSE) from Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET), has been offered a position as Software Developer-I at Amazon with the highest-ever pay package with a cost to company (CTC) of Rs 28.75 lakhs per annum including stock options.
Hyderabad: Satya Sai Sivaramakrishna Neerukonda, a student of B Tech (CSE) from Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET), has been offered a position as Software Developer-I at Amazon with the highest-ever pay package with a cost to company (CTC) of Rs 28.75 lakhs per annum including stock options.
This CTC is the highest for any private engineering college from any company this year, Dr Pardha Saradhi, Director for Training & Placements at VNRVJIET said congratulating the student. Dr Pardha Saradhi added that the dedicated training and placement team is putting endless efforts by initiating several training interventions on the latest digital technologies, right from first-year to final year. This resulted in increase of the average salary with 200 students getting offers over 6 lakhs per annum and 30 students getting more than 10 lakhs per annum package.
On this occasion, Satya Sai Sivaramakrishna expressed his joy and thanked his faculty members, particularly his mentor S Jahnavi, Dept. Placement Coordinator, P Ramakrishna, and his teachers Y Bhanusree and V Baby and the HoD-CSE, B V Kiranmayee.
He revealed that students must develop their skills pertaining to competitive programming and develop strong foundations in algorithms and programming concepts regardless of programming languages.
The Principal, Dr C D Naidu, said that the Institute's students have bagged over 1200 offers through campus placements during 2018–'19, which is the highest number of placements ever in an academic year. The Director for advancement, Dr B ChennaKesava Rao, and the faculty members of Department of CSE, and the Vignana Jyothi Management congratulated Satya Sai Sivaramakrishna for his exceptional success.
