Bengaluru Residents Panic After Rattling Sound Like Earthquake Felt

A loud noise heard from the various areas in Bengaluru on Wednesday created panic among the residents. People residing at Sarjapur, HSR, Whitefield and Hebbal heard the noise and suspected to be like an earthquake and ran out of their homes.
Meanwhile, the scientists from the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Management Center said that they are ascertaining the source of the noise. While some people said that they have seen several aircrafts today and the noise might have come from it.
According to the police, the sound was heard across the eastern Bengaluru from the International airport. The authorities have also contacted HAL and IAF on the noise.
Meanwhile, the KSNDMC officials confirmed that it is not an earthquake and asked the people not to panic.
On the other hand, people who heard the sound took to Twitter to share their worries thinking of that could be an earthquake.
