Tumkur: The mystery surrounding the gruesome discovery of three charred bodies inside a car in Kuchchangi village has been unraveled, shedding light on a tragic tale of deceit and betrayal. The victims, identified as Sahul Hameed (45), Isak (56), and Siddique (34), hailed from Belthangadi, with each having their own aspirations and dreams shattered in the most horrific manner.

Sahul Hameed, a resident of TB Kran in Belthangadi taluk, earned his livelihood as an auto driver, while Isak hailed from Kuvettu village in Madadka, and Siddique from Shirlalu village. Their lives took a fatal turn when they embarked on a journey to Tumkur, lured by promises of acquiring gold at a bargain price. Little did they know that their trust would be met with treachery and their lives brutally cut short.

The perpetrators, in a sinister ploy, lured the trio under the guise of sharing a newfound gold nugget, only to subject them to a horrifying ordeal.

Bound and helpless, the victims were callously set ablaze inside the car, leaving behind a trail of devastation and despair.

In a swift response, the Kora police have apprehended six suspects in connection with the heinous crime and are currently interrogating them to unravel the full extent of the conspiracy. As investigations unfold, the authorities have registered a Sumoto case and are meticulously examining every angle to ensure justice is served.

Tumkur District Superintendent of Police Ashok KV and IGP Ravikantegowda visited the scene of the spot and ingestion is ongoing.
