The Covid-19 pandemic has almost brought the Indian economy to a standstill. It has affected all the four sectors-primary, manufacturing, service and quaternary.

The primary sector consists of agricultural activities and has been affected mainly due to no proper transportation facilities.

The manufacturing sector, which is involved in producing of finished goods, is hit badly due to lack of availability of raw material and labourers. While the service sector comprising of IT service, banking etc. are not affected badly, thanks to work from home.

Education, which falls under quaternary sector, has been hit severely. Schools, colleges and institutions were forced to either postpone of call off the exams and all the schools are not functioning till date, though some schools have taken to online teaching. To revive the economy, the government has to provide transportation facility to agriculture and indigenous material industries. Similarly, the educational institutions should begin classes by ensuring follow social distance.
