As many as 18 Army officers of Technical Entry Scheme Course (TES-31) were conferred engineering degrees by Lieutenant General Paramjit Singh, AVSM, VSM, Commandant of MCEME and Colonel Commandant of Corps of EME at a convocation ceremony at Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering, Secunderabad.

Trimulgherry: As many as 18 Army officers of Technical Entry Scheme Course (TES-31) were conferred engineering degrees by Lieutenant General Paramjit Singh, AVSM, VSM, Commandant of MCEME and Colonel Commandant of Corps of EME at a convocation ceremony at Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering, Secunderabad.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, General Paramjit Singh congratulated the graduating officers on conferring the B Tech Degree. He also said that technology is evolving very fast and officers need to keep pace with latest development. That constant efforts are required to upgrade technology and have advantage over their adversary.

He further said that as technical graduate the officers would be responsible for the technical equipment and would have to associate themselves with the latest weapon systems. He also mentioned that the officers should be ready to take the responsibility in the environment and set a befitting goal.

The impressive ceremony was attended by a host of senior dignitaries from armed forces and civil administration amongst an august gathering of more than 300 guests and students.
