3-K Run held to mark Arts College anniversary
A 3-K Run was organised on Friday morning under the leadership of Arts College Principal Prof. Ravinder to mark the institution’s anniversary celebrations.
Osmania University: A 3-K Run was organised on Friday morning under the leadership of Arts College Principal Prof. Ravinder to mark the institution's anniversary celebrations. Chief guest OU Registrar Prof Gopal Reddy flagged off the run in the presence of OSD Prof Krishna Rao and Telugu department head Prof Surya Dhananjay.
The run took off at Arts College and passed through IPE, Science College, before returning to the college. Addressing the participants, the guests stated that the run was conducted to ensure a peaceful atmosphere on the varsity campus. They observed that participating in such events would result in mental peace, enabling persons to take up any task.
The chief guest stated that people should live with 'mind without fear. He appealed to teachers and students to strive for bringing more laurels to the university and enhance its prestige. Among the participants were Professors Naidu, Ashok, Ramulu and Shivraj, faculty members and students.
