Tandur: District Collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam said the works for 30-day action plan would commence from Friday. She conducted review meeting with several officials here on Wednesday.
She said the village standing committee to be constituted for the supervision of drinking water, sanitation, streetlights and caring of the plantation. She suggested that members of self-help groups, retired people and donors should be included in the committees. The Collector said the sarpanch and upa sarpanch should form committees with their ward members.
She directed the officials to make arrangements so that MPTCs would look after the committees at mandal level. ZP CEO Srikanth Reddy, Panchayat Officer Rizwana, youth welfare officer Hanumantha Rao, RDO Venumadhava Rao, sarpanches, upa sarpanches, MPDOs, MROs, VROs, village secretaries and others were present.
