304 cops awarded for best performance
In view of recognition and reward of meritorious work done by police personnel of Law and Order and other wings, as many as 304 police officers and men at commissionerate level were awarded appreciations.
Nampally: In view of recognition and reward of meritorious work done by police personnel of Law and Order and other wings, as many as 304 police officers and men at commissionerate level were awarded appreciations.
They were also rewarded by Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar for their best performance (Vertical Wise) in their field of work for the months of January and February 2019 at a function held at Police Commissionerate Office in Basheerbagh on Thursday. It may be mentioned here that Hyderabad City Police introduced KPI (key performance indicators).
The system of recognition and reward of staff at every level for outstanding/very good performance on a monthly basis in various wings has been underway. The 17 functional verticals are: Law and Order Police Stations, Special Branch, Traffic Branch, Task Force, CAR Head Quarters, CPL Amberpet, City Security Wing, IT Cell, Communication, Main and Zonal PCRs, SHE Team and Bharosa Support Centre etc. The system assesses the performance of each vertical depending upon the nature of the work. The measure is intended to bring about professionalism at every level by ensuring specialisation of man power in each vertical.
