56-year-old man bludgeoned to death

A 56-year-old man was killed in Khairatabad in the wee hours of Saturday. According to Saifabad police, unknown assailants killed him by attacking him with stones.

The victim has been identified as Bangari, a resident of Chintalbasti. On receiving information, police rushed to the spot with dog squad and a clues team collected evidence from the site of the incident.
Later, they shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for postmortem. The police registered a case, and are verifying CCTV footage near the premises.
