ACB catches an electricity officer red-handedly for accepting bribe of Rs. 8000

A Tukaram was caught redhanded by ACB while accepting a cash amount of Rs.8000/- at Jedimetla electricity office for doing an official favour i.e., to move the file of the complainant for approval.

The complainant then lodged a complaint at the ACB office and the officials laid a trap and caught the officer red-handed.

Also, chemical test was conducted on his hands to prove his role in the bribe.

He was arrested and will be produced before the Special Judge for ACB cases.
