All-India Youth Federation, All India Students Federation pledge to fight for youth issues
The Medchal district units of All-India Youth Federation (AIYF) and All-India Students’ Federation (AISF) on Tuesday called for a sustained struggle to solve the problems of students and youth.
ECIL: The Medchal district units of All-India Youth Federation (AIYF) and All-India Students' Federation (AISF) on Tuesday called for a sustained struggle to solve the problems of students and youth.
At a meeting in Neelam Rajasekhar Reddy Bhavan, leaders of AISF K Dharmendra and AIYF T Satya Prasad resolved to take up an agitation for solving the problems facing students and youth in the district.
The two leaders accused the TRS government of 'ruining' the education system at the instance of corporate institution. They pointed out that while neighbouring States were allocating higher budget for education, the Telangana government was taking policy decisions leading to wastage of funds.
The leaders demanded steps by the government to strengthen the education system and provide jobs to youngsters. They warned that activists of AISF and AIYF would lay siege district collectorate next week.
Among those present at the meeting were AISF leaders Durga Prasad, Mahesh, Rami Reddy, Riyaz, Bharath, Pradeep, AIYF leaders Rajanikanth, Prem, Harish.
