Osmania University: Bahujana Bathukamma was celebrated on a grand note here on Thursday. Arunodaya Cultural Federation President Vimalakka said the celebrations were held with the aim of protecting environment and opposing uranium tests.
She criticised leaders marketing Bathukamma by causing damage to the environment. She called upon everyone to protect forests in order to protect nature and tribal culture. The festival would be celebrated in all the districts of Telangana.
