BCs urged to follow Phule's ideas
As part 193rd birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Jyothi Rao Phule, the OU BC cell held a meeting at OU administration block. The OU BC Workers Association president S Neelesh Kumar organised the programme. Telangana BC Commission Chairman B S Ramulu was invited as the chief guest.

The OU BC Workers Association president S Neelesh Kumar organised the programme. Telangana BC Commission Chairman B S Ramulu was invited as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, B S Ramulu said, "BC's should take Jyothi Rao Phule as inspiration and should work hard in their respective fields." He further added, "The reservation system is the only sacrifice of the great leaders like Phule who fought for downtrodden society.
So we should fight for our rights." He also explained about the hard days of Phule. OU BC cell director Acharya A Sadananda Chari, OU registrar Gopal Reddy, OSD Krishna Rao and others participated in the programme.
