Congress leaders laud services of Sam Pitroda
Congress overseas youth leader and resident of Australia Jakkidi Kranthi Dev Reddy, speaking to media here on Wednesday, lauded the role of Sam Pitroda in ushering in communication technology revolution in India.
Mansoorabad: Congress overseas youth leader and resident of Australia Jakkidi Kranthi Dev Reddy, speaking to media here on Wednesday, lauded the role of Sam Pitroda in ushering in communication technology revolution in India.
Kranthi Dev Reddy said that it is because of his services that the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, who was a friend of Pitroda, was able to initiate measures to bring out revolutionary changes in communication and IT sector in the country. "Sam Pitroda has paved the way for the progress we are witnessing today," he said.
Congress youth leaders, who spoke at the press conference, too lauded the valuable services Sam Pitroda made to science and technology sectors. They said that the current day youth should draw inspiration from him and look forward to tread the path shown by him.
Among those who were present on the occasion were Rangareddy district dalit leaders B Durga Rao, B Sathyanarayana, Kongari Sathyanarayana, B Ashok, youth association leaders Ganta Satish, Ganta Shravan, Mahesh Goud, Narsimha Reddy, Satish and others.
