Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar said that some are conspiring to create communal tensions in the city during the GHMC elections by provoking the people with an intention to disrepute city.

"In the last seven years, Hyderabad city has garnered good reputation not only across the county but also globally and many international companies such as Boeing, Apple and Facebook had invested in the city because of the city's low crime rate, good at maintaining peace and security and no communal tensions," the CP said.
He said that some people who did not want the city to be developed are trying to create tensions in the city and those people need to be evicted from the society.
Anjani Kumar said that there are also people who are circulating fake news on social networking platforms and stern action will be taken against him. He asked the public to alert the police by dialling 100 if they come across any fake news on social media.
