Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI) Hyderabad chapter organised a dementia awareness and memory screening camp at ECHS polyclinic, Secunderabad on Thursday. Major General N Srinivas Rao, General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area inaugurated the camp.

Secunderabad: Alzheimer's and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI) Hyderabad chapter organised a dementia awareness and memory screening camp at ECHS polyclinic, Secunderabad on Thursday. Major General N Srinivas Rao, General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area inaugurated the camp.

Addressing the gathering, Major General N Srinivas Rao said that Telangana and Andhra Sub Area would collaborate with ARDSI, Hyderabad chapter to conduct more such dementia awareness and memory screening camps across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh for the benefit of serving, retired soldiers and their dependents.

As many as 300 serving, retired soldiers and their dependents attended the camp. Telangana and Andhra Sub Area have undertaken various health care initiatives in the last two years which has benefitted more than 2 lakh beneficiaries.

Dr K Chandra Sekhar, Vice-President of ARDSI Hyderabad Deccan Chapter, Subash Kaul, Senior Consultant Neurologist at KIMS and A Bala Tripura Sundari, Co-founder and trustee of ARDSI Hyderabad Chapter, Commandant MH Secunderabad, Director ECHS Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, and Ex-Servicemen representatives attended the awarness camp.
