Nampally: Reflecting the brotherhood amongst different communities, non Muslims from different walks of life including Mahant of Udasin Math located Hussaini Alam, Principal of College of Engineering (OU) and several others attended the Dawat-e-Iftar organised by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.

On the occasion, prizes to participants of Quiz Competition on 'Teachings of Islam and importance of Ramzan' were also awarded at an event which held at Eden Garden Function Hall in King Koti on Saturday.

In the quiz competition organised specially for non-Muslims, as many as 200 students including a few studying MBBS took part. The team of Guda Devender Reddy (MBBS Student), who was partnered by Guda Rajasekhar Reddy, got first prize (Rs 20,000), while the team of N Prakash got second prize (Rs 15,000) and the team of Pooj Dhima and Nivetha Reddy stood third (10,000), while the

elderly woman Kamala (80 years) got the 'special consolation prize'. The programme was attended by Maulana Hamid Mohammed Khan, state president, JIH, Mohammed Sha

reef, Telugu speaker, Mahant Arun Das Udasin Baba,Prof M Kumar, Principal College of Engineering (O U), Mohammed Rashaduddin, City President, JIH and others.
