The Patancheru police solved the July 13 murder case of a woman, Anjilamma(45) on the outskirts of Lakdaram village by arresting an ex-convict Mayani Ramulu (42) who shared an illicit relationship with her.
Patancheru: The Patancheru police solved the July 13 murder case of a woman, Anjilamma(45) on the outskirts of Lakdaram village by arresting an ex-convict Mayani Ramulu (42) who shared an illicit relationship with her.
Inspector Naresh told the media that Ramulu had resorted to the murder following a brief row with the victim. He hit her with helmet and strangulated her with 'Pusthelathadu'. According to CI Naresh, later he managed to escape with her 'pusthelathadu' and cell phone.
Ramulu, who initially took to petty thefts, was involved in ten cases of murder, robbery and theft in Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Medak districts. In a murder case registered by the Narsingi police, he was sentenced to imprisonment of ten years, Naresh stated.
