Participating as the chief guest at an awareness programme on using C-Vigil app, EVMs and VVPATs, at Fine Arts College, JNTU, Masabtank, on Monday, he said the first phase of elections would be held on April 11.
Youth should avail of their voting right. Everyone should extend their cooperation in conducting elections in a peaceful and transparent manner. "Download the e-vigil app to lodge complaints on irregularities. About 1.5 lakh youth have enrolled as voters. Every vote is vital in a democracy," he exhorted. Officials explained the working of C-Vigil app, EVMs and VVPATs. Zonal Commissioner (West) Hari Chandana Dasari was present.
