The Fifth Haj Orientation Training Camp for the Selected Haj Pilgrims was conducted at Jama Masjid in Darusshifa on Sunday.

Darusshifa: The Fifth Haj Orientation Training Camp for the Selected Haj Pilgrims was conducted at Jama Masjid in Darusshifa on Sunday.

The Chairman of Telangana State Haj Committee, Mohammed Masiullah Khan, presided over it and advised the pilgrims to take care of their health and practise walking every day. He said that Rubath Draw would be held on May 4. He also requested the intending Haj pilgrims to pray for the peace, success, good future and progress of Telangana State.

Telangana State Haj Committee Executive Officer Mohammed Abdul Waheed elaborated on the procedures and regulations about the Haj journey. He congratulated the Haj pilgrims on their selection for Haj-2019 and talked about some important aspects of the Haj journey.

He also informed that the Government of India had allotted an additional quota of 821 seats out of the 25,000 seats which were allotted to the country as an additional quota by Saudi Prince Mohammed Bin Salman during his recent visit to India.

Renowned scholar Moulana Mufti Inaam ur Rahman Jameel spoke about the Haj rituals, while Moulana Mufti Abdul Aziz Lehji spoke about Umra rituals and about visit of the holy city of Madina.

Mohammed Farooq Ali Hussami, the President of Hussamia Khadimul Hujjaj Society, welcomed the gathering. Mohammed Amjad Ali Abu Talha, the Member of Telangana State Haj Committee, addressed the Haj pilgrims and advised them to observe extreme discipline, patience and decency while visiting the shrines of Makkah and Madina and also to pray for the welfare of state and the country.

Mohammed Arifuddin, Member, Telangana State Haj Committee, and Janab Irfan Shareef, the Assistant Executive Officer of Telangana State Haj Committee, and all the staff members of Haj Committee and 12 Khadimul Hujjaj (Haj Officers) were also present on this occasion.
