Foul sewerage smell puts off people

Karmika Nagar: Locals of Karmika Nagar, Jubilee Hills constituency, are facing miserable situation because an open nala which passes through this locality has become a drain of sorrow for the residents.

The locals allege the civic authorities are not taking any action even after multiple complaints."My house is next to this nala, and the drainage water and all the water come and collect here, making this patch filled with an unpleasant smell.

We have complained to the civic authorities about the garbage for a long time, but no one is ready to clean it. As such, several types of illness are spreading. We request the civic authorities to clean it as soon as possible," said K Teja Mudiraj, a local resident.
