Free ambulance services at Tank Bund launched

By looking at the efforts of risk swimmer Shiva alias Hanumanthu, who saved hundreds of lives and the need for an ambulance at Tank Bund premises for rescuing the people who plunge into the Hussian Sagar lake to commit suicides under depression, to get rid of family and financial problems, a businessman by name Kamalesh and his family and friends arranged the ambulance service.
They spent nearly Rs 7 lakh for purchasing the ambulance. The round-the-clock services of the ambulance would be provided free of cost on the mobile number 9100006794. Speaking on the occasion, ACP Venu Gopal Reddy said the free ambulance services would help swimmer Shiva and the Lakeview police to shift the rescued persons speedily from Tank Bund to the nearby hospitals for emergency treatment.
He said when no cases were found at Tank Bund, the ambulance services would be provided to the poor families to shift the dead bodies of their family members from hospital to their residences. B Dhanalaxmi , SHO, Lake Police Station and other staff participated in the program.
