Garbage piling up, triggers outrage

Kondapur: Dumping of garbage indiscriminately has become a menace for the residents of Kondapur. Many internal roads of Kondapur have turned into dump yards.

The garbage is not being cleared for months and when the GHMC workers are questioned about it, they wash their hands off, saying that there are large quantities of garbage and they would be collected by the GHMC vans soon.

The GHMC vans come once in a month and due to this, foul smell is emanating from the trash piles in this area, making the surroundings inhospitable for the locals. It is also giving rise to breeding of mosquitoes, complain the locals.
