As many as 14 resolutions have been passed in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) standing committee meeting which was held on Thursday under the leadership of GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan.

Hyderabad: As many as 14 resolutions have been passed in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) standing committee meeting which was held on Thursday under the leadership of GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan.

Resolution regarding 150-ft road from Ali Cafe to Nalla Chervuv via Patel Nagar STP and Nagole Metro station was passed at the standing committee meeting.

The panel also okayed widening of the 65-metre wide stretch from Gachibowli to BHEL Junction via the Central University of Hyderabad. It also gave its go-ahead for 18-metre road widening from Tolichowki flyover to

Golconda fort via military area and 30-metre road widening from Banjara Dharwaja Junction to Telangana Social Welfare Boys Junior College.

A 45-metre road widening will be taken up from Kukatpally Housing Board flyover to Bharat Nagar railway goods shed. In view of the monsoons, purchase of tyres, tubes, batteries, tarpaulin sheets for GHMC vehicles at a cost of Rs 2.95 crore was approved.

A major resolution was regarding construction of storm water box drain at a cost of Rs 10.5 crore from Vanasthalipuram Cross Roads to Mansoorbad Pedda Cheruvu.

GHMC Commissioner M Dana Kishore, standing Committee members Sangeeta Prashanth Goud, Tonta Anjaiah, M Mamata, Mohammed Abdul Rahman, Majid Hussain, Ravula Sheshagiri, GHMC officials Adwaith Kumar Singh, Musharaff Ali, Shruthi Ojha, Srinivas Reddy and others were present at the meeting.
