Green drive held at BC boys hostel

Patancheru: Student leaders on Sunday planted fruit and flower-bearing plants in local BC Boys Hostel along with several youngsters. The leaders included district BC students Association president Balram, Navabharatnirman Yuva Sena district president Mettu Sridhar.

Balram and Sridhar said that they had explained to students the importance of tree plantation in view of the unprecedented depletion of groundwater levels. They said it was high time for people to realise the serious situation, otherwise the future generations would face severe hardship.
