Hyderabad : Include Sonia Gandhi's life in school syllabus says Dasoju Sravan
Party spokesperson Dasoju Sravan makes the request on the occasion of Sonia Gandhi’s 74th birthday
Hyderabad : All India Congress Committee spokesperson Dasoju Sravan has requested the Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, to include Congress party chief Sonia Gandhi's life in the state school syllabus. He made this demand on the occasion of 74th birthday of Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday.
"For the great contribution and commitment shown by Sonia Gandhi, it is our prime responsibility to honour her. Although K Chandrashekar Rao is the first beneficiary of the separate State, he didn't show any interest to respect Sonia Gandhi, the greatest leader.
Therefore, I humbly request the Government of Telangana to initiate the process as soon as possible," Sravan said on Wednesday. Despite huge opposition against the formation of separate Telangana from certain sections, Sonia Gandhi, however, showed great dedication, conviction and commitment to fulfil the promise given to the people of Telangana.
Sravan reminded that the TRS chief made an official statement in the State Assembly that Telangana dream was achieved only because of Sonia Gandhi. However, even after six years of the formation of the new State, nothing great has been done to keep the promise, he lamented.
