Hyderabad: Hyderabad was relatively warm, in sharp contrast to the cold weather that prevailed during the recent past, recording the night temperature of 17.8 degrees Celsius during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Monday, according to the IMD bulletin and Telangana State Development Planning Society, Planning department.

The bulletin said the night temperature on January 5 was likely to be 16 degrees Celsius, with fog/mist in the morning and partly cloudy sky later continuing. According to the forecast, the minimum temperatures during the period January 6-9 would be 17, 17, 17 and 18 degrees Celsius respectively. It said the fog/misty weather would persist till January 8, while it would be for or mist the next day.

The bulletin said the night temperatures during the last 24 hours were appreciably above normal ranging from 3.1 to 5 degrees Celsius at one or two places in the State. They were above normal by 1.6 to 3 degrees Celsius at a few places.

According to the bulletin, the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degrees Celsius was recorded in Medak. The other temperatures recorded elsewhere in the State were: Adilabad & Nalgonda 14.2 each, Hakimpet 14.8, Dundigal 16.2, Ramagundam 16.8, Nizamabad 17.3, Hanamkonda 17.5, Khammam 17.6, Hyderabad 17.8, Mahbubnagar 18, Bhadrachalam 18.2,
